My Everyday Beauty Essentials

I am pretty basic when it comes to makeup (and by basic I mean simple). I like to keep things clean, and in the spirit of minimalism, less is totally more. Which I have found I really don't need a lot. It makes traveling and being able to carry my essentials in my bag if I too easily. I have limited to just six things for my whole beauty routine, which is impressive considering the number of beauty products out there.

I don't have terribly long eyelashes and they are blonde at the tips, so to make eyes pop, mascara and an eyelash curler are a must! W3LL PEOPLE  has a wonderful all natural mascara, I just adore (check out my post about it  here!)
sustainably sourced cruelty-free  no parabens, petroleum, or artificial ingredients

I am lucky enough to have decent skin, but I do suffer from the occasional redness and uneven skin tones, I find that a tinted moisturizer is usually enough coverage, and I really like the light-weightiness of Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and have been using them for years now.
On a side note, I have been doing some research on just how bare Bare Minerals actually is... it's been hard to consider them organic because though their list is littered with plant-based ingredients it isn't clear here the 'soil minerals' are used. I will be looking into replacing this brand in the near future, if you have any recommendations please share!

In the wintertime especially I get really dry skin so my go to is a really absorbent face oil, I recently switched to Valentia Organic Rosehip Oil ♁ which has been really great, plus it is a natural anti-aging property, that helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles for us that are 30+. Rosehip has essential fatty acids which work to lock in moisture, hydrate the skin and keep it soft and supple. Get ready to improve your complexion and face the elements.
vegan + non-toxic + cruelty free + sustainably sourced + no parabens, sulfates, preservatives or synthetics

I like to let my hair go natural most of the time, but with it being somewhere in between and wavy and straight sometimes a heated styling tool is needed, in that case, I use Briogeo Roscaro Blow Dry Protectant , smells amazing, I love all of their products.
cruelty-free + no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or silicones + organic ingredients *95% naturally derived

Having a nice light scent is pretty important to me, I don't like anything that is overpowering but I love me some good smells. My boyfriend actually got me TokyoMilk perfume in Tainted Love. It is a lovely mix of vanilla, sandalwood, orchid, and white tea.

  1. All of these products sound lovely! I'm interested in the all natural mascara. I like to use more naturally based products when possible, but have never tried a mascara option!
